Campaign Converter

• What is the Campaign Converter?

  The Campaign Converter is a handy tool that will painlessly convert your existing campaigns to the Yahoo! Search Marketing Panama platform.

• How do I use the Campaign Converter?

  Once you've completed the initial three steps outlined on the Campaign Converter home page, select the campaigns you'd like to convert. We'll retrieve your existing data and quickly and flawlessly convert it to the Panama format. At this time, the Campaign Converter works with Google AdWords campaigns. Support for other platforms is in development.

• What will be converted?

  We'll convert all of your selected active and paused campaigns, Ad Groups and keywords (negative keywords, too) over to your Panama campaign, preserving your existing account structure as much as possible. Paused campaigns, Ad Groups, and keywords will also be paused in your Panama campaign.

• What won't be converted?

  WebVisible Enterprise cannot convert any deleted campaigns, ads, Ad Groups, or keywords. Settings related to site targeting, geo-targeting, or day-parting will also not be converted as well.

• How can I track URLs from my Google AdWords campaign once they've been converted to the Panama platform?

  WebVisible Enterprise preserves your Google AdWords campaign data during the conversion process. If you want to enable click-through tracking to uniquely track and indicate the traffic that came from your Yahoo! Marketing Solutions ads, first log in to your newly-created Panama campaign. Select the name of the Ad Group you want to monitor and make sure its “Destination URL” has the proper Tracking URL to indicate Yahoo!-specific traffic.

• How many campaigns can I convert?

  The number varies depending upon the number of existing Panama campaigns. Yahoo! Search Marketing allows no more than 20 Panama campaigns to co-exist at once. For example, if your Panama account is new (i.e. empty), then 20 campaigns can be converted. However, if it already has 5 campaigns, you can only convert 15.
